I’ve seen you I’ve heard you I remember you I know you The smell of you I’ve felt you I know you Who are you? Ribbons in her hair Bells on her ankles Flower petals thrown To save their souls Who are you? Please tell me I can’t lose you You’re all I need Why did I go Through the heart of the storm Chasing her With a broken boat? She was just a girl For whom I could cry A memory  of the sky! Already my world Had been made of lies Memories of the sky! I chased her I had her I lost her Did I know her? Who are you? I feel you I can’t remember you But I know you! Casting through my dark She was the light Like a memory of the sky I don’t know who she was Like a passing sight A memory of the sky In the maelstrom of Fell signs Just a memory of the sky! (Solo: Haste) (Solo: Yuggoth) (Solo: Taylor) (Solo: Haste/Yuggoth/Taylor) To let go is too much How will I live Without your love? What I’ve missed These lips never kissed How to go on… What dreams have done I won’t forget Though I can forgive Like the pain of a blade In my chest I’ve been torn before Only once By the memory To which I hold on She was the only love All I’d want Like the light of stars The face of god Though I’ll never know Exactly why A memory of the sky! She was just a girl That I saw one night Just a memory of the sky

By sword, by shield we live By sword, by shield we die This time honored curse To hear the angels’ cry Never have I known  a sound to break me like this one The wailing from the bricks Of the throne to the setting sun (Fill: Haste) The sword calls to some To others the shield When together as one You choose them to wield With weighted hands Upon the throne Wondering where has  our lord gone? Beyond the veil calls a voice So sweet and pure But it’s anguished cries Are The soul’s lure “To greater, to greater!” She calls us to go To surpass ourselves forevermore With anxiousness the shield With haste the sword Both opposing each other Together to deliver the world As the throne lies empty That no one can claim None have ever been worthy None known by name We defend that throne We can hear its call We know by heart alone Its code And to that throne We go home Sing to me ye angels Sing me to better myself If I fail to do so Cast me aside! (Solo: Taylor) “To greater! To greater!” Is all that she sings “Surpass yourselves! Forevermore!” (Solo: Yuggoth) Never have I known A sound to break me like this one The wailing from the bricks Of the throne to the setting sun (Solo: Haste)

Warwind 06:15
Oh… I know… A warwind blows To where.. Unknown… But this warwind She blows… Blood… Running cold.. In my veins… In my bones… Respect, They have none And now the time  has come Revenge On our souls This warwind That blows I have felt For so long Their voices Are shunned For beauty Or for fear But none, you can tell Are near In them We don’t believe So why would They believe In me? This chill On the breeze A warwind Comes for me No more Will we fear Cause this warwind Is near Strike me down The messenger I will join the winds of war 風から来る 山から 海から 彼らは来る

about

Taking a bit of a breather from the vicious metallic onslaughts of Истребитель and the upcoming completion of 2007's Victory Through Chaos, we collaborated with close friend and associate Skyler Champeau to make an EP of songs. Throne to the Setting Sun somewhat revisits the traditional metal sounds of Odal, but combines it with a retro 80's synth sound.
